A CT Mercedes-Benz dealership is growing, and with new features

A Connecticut Mercedes-Benz dealership is growing, and the new building has some user-friendly conveniences.
Mercedes-Benz of Danbury is officially opening its new 30,0000-square-foot dealership, just off of Route 7 in Danbury, according to General Manager Joseph Messner.
“We are very proud of our new facility for many reasons, but primarily because the location is more convenient to many of our customers. Access is very easy from I-84 and Route 7,” Messner said.
The company noted the expansion also “comes on the heels of the company’s 10% growth in 2023,” he said.
“The facility itself was designed to be very user-friendly for employees and customers,” Messner said. “Additionally, this is a green facility with solar panels covering our entire rooftop, and we expect to collect more electricity than we use. We have six electric chargers available to the public and two of them are very fast-charging units.”
He said the new dealership at 1 Miry Brook Road, Danbury has features that include:
- New green facility with total rooftop solar panels
- Six electric vehicle chargers
- Large showroom
- Additional inventory
Messner said the business is pleased to contribute to the growth and development of the community, and that the new location represents an ongoing commitment to “delivering world-class service to hundreds of car shoppers in our community while creating long-lasting connections.”
“The facility reflects the beauty, quality and character of Mercedes-Benz and Sprinter vehicles we represent and is a comfortable, relaxed and sophisticated place to shop for a car or just to stop in and say ‘hi,’” he said.
Messner said the dealership was designed and built by Claris Design•Build, a professional Design-Build firm with offices in Newtown and West Hartford, Charlotte, N.C., and Salt Lake City, Utah. “Claris performs all aspects of work, including design, with internal resources” with a “holistic and streamlined approach,” he said.
The dealership will hold an open house starting at 9 a.m. Saturday June 15.
